Default Is Rabat, Morocco Worth a Visit?

By Jaffar Wilson

When you are thinking about traveling to the great Kingdom of Morocco, there is one area that you have to check out while you are there, and that is Rabat. This is the capital of Morocco, and it's populated by more than 1.5 million people. People come from all over the world to view this enchanted area. Also, because it's the capital this city, it's full of all the best hotels and places to eat. If you have never been to Morocco, this is one of the best places to start. Not only is it full of things to see and do, it is also full of so much natural beauty. At times it could be hard to catch your breath. That is beauty that you cannot find too often anymore.

When you get to Rabat you are going to notice that the area has a lot of water around it. This really adds to the fantastic atmosphere that this city has. First of all, Rabat happens to sit right on the Atlantic Ocean. This only adds to the fact that it's a huge tourist spot to visit. Not only that, but this city also happens to sit at the mouth of the Bou Regreg River. Because of the beautiful surrounding, Rabat's main source of income actually comes from tourism.

Another reason why people love to come to Rabat is because of all the culture you can learn about. In fact, when you are in town, you have to go to the Theater Mohamed V, which is located right in the center of the town. Its location makes it almost impossible to miss the amazing building. Also around this area, you are going to find a lot of official Morocco galleries, as well as an archaeological museum. This is another reason why Rabat is a good choice for people who have never been to Morocco. By coming here, you will be able to learn tons of things you never knew about, as well as have a good time.

While you are in Rabat, you might as well stop and see Temara. This is an area of Morocco that is located in the green belt of Rabat. In fact, the whole area of Temara is covered in natural, as well as, artificial forest. Whenever you see these forests for the first time, it will blow you away. This is sure to be one area of Rabat that you and your family are truly going to enjoy. After all, this lets you see a completely different side of Rabat that most people do not normally get to see.

If you are looking for an area that is not only full of fun, but full of good food and great hotels, then you need to look no further the Rabat in Morocco. This is one place in the world that everyone in your family will be able to find something they like to do. After touring the sites in this one of a kind city, you are going to want to come back to Rabat time and time again. There is no place else in the world like it.
