Morocco expands launch of biometric passports The Moroccan Foreign Affairs and the Interior ministries have began, January 7th, issuing the biometric passports in 14 Moroccan provinces and six new consulates.
These new locations were added to ones that were already open like the one in the province in Salé, Skhirat-Temara, and the Consulate of Morocco in Colombes, France.
The 14 prefectures and provinces involved are: Ain Sebaa, Ben M'ssik, Benslimane, Chichaoua, Fahs Anjra, Hay Mohammadi, Khemisset, Mediouna, Mohammedia, Moulay Rachid, Nouaceur, Rabat, Sidi Sidi Kacem and Bernoussi.
Similarly, the biometric passport is now issued at the consulates of Morocco in Bilbao (Spain) Liège (Belgium), Palermo (Italy), Paris and Toulouse (France) and Utrecht (Netherlands).
