Could anyone suggest (and provide links to) tour companies that provide day tours out of Marrakech to near by areas?

We'll be based in Marrakech and would like to arrange a few local tours from there. Things we had in mind were:

1) Hopefully a High Atlas mountain tour and down to Ait ben Haddou and back. Is that possible in single day (excuse the ignorance... not sure on distances, weather, and transport speeds etc)?

2) General (driven) tour around Marrakech taking in sites.

3) Any other recommended tours?

We would probably prefer to pre-book these tours, but are their other operators/tours we could book whilst there?

We'll be staying in a riad within a 5 min walk of JEF square.

Hi Scott, on a previous trip we used a company called www.roughtours.com although the trip we did was a week we did go to Ait ben Haddou, Atlas mountains, Toudra Gorges ending with a camel trek in the Sahara....which was my main goal of the trip...and pleased to say it didn't disappoint.

I know they do various options and it may be worth getting in touch with them as we found them very reliable and tailored the trip to what we wanted to see and do. Also if it's day trip you're looking for maybe the Riad you're staying in could help as they usually have contacts they use to offer trips and excursions.
