the good thing is you will still be able to buy booze somewhere since you are not Moroccan maybe from a restaurant/bar or a hotel. All liquor stores will be closed!
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Perhaps I'll set aside 10,000dhs and buy a pantload of booze, and sell it out of my apartment. CASH MONEY IN THE BANK.

Hello again =) It's now one week until our trip and I'm still doing research... after arriving in Casablanca we would like to travel down to El Jadida and then possibly Oualidia, I am just worried about how difficult it may be to catch a bus/taxi in these places? And if we did so would it be expensive to get from Oualidia to Essaouira or Marrakesh? Thanks

Try here

http://www.moroccoguide.com/destinat...oast/oualidia/
_____________

"CTM have to buses departing Essaouira for El-Jadida.
Cost is 80 dirhams plus 5 dirhams for luggage.
Journey time is about 4 hours.

I don't know the departure time for second bus.

The buses for El-Jadida goes onto Casablanca, so book a seat 1 or 2 days before leaving.

Please use times and prices as a rough guide only."

That was a quote from another travel site. This bus goes via Jadida to up north so normally vice versa should exist, but i dont know if u find any in Oualidia, only taxis (NOT sure, maybe there is busses, dont know). U can however find taxis from El-Jadida to Oualidia, the site above says it costs around 20DH. If u go to Oualidia, just enter a hotel or shop there and ask them about transportation, should be fine, God willing. If u dont plan on staying the night do this as soon as u get there. If u dont find any transportation, my tip would be to return to El-Jadida and take transportation from there.

Hope it works out! Remember to ask people there if ur unsure of anything, moroccans generally are very friendly

*Please* post photos. I have no idea what's in El Jadida.

Casa airport is out in the middle of nowhere. The taxi ride to the train station can be expensive. Find the tourist booth and ask where you can get a grand taxi or share a petit taxi.

Here in Rabat Agdal, there's a lineup of taxis across from the Mosque most of the day, and all they do is run from Agdal to Centreville. They wait for four people and go. 4dhs flat rate.

Hi "polly8291"

I would suggest you to try to respect religion of Moroco and avoid things like nudity, drinking. And do it with a though that you may find you self in a different mind state and learn about religion of Moroco. I hope you'll be surprisingly happy with your decision.
