The Marrakech Popular Arts Festival is one of the major highlights to take place during the month of July, taking place from the 14th to the 19th of July at a variety of popular venues.

Although the whole of Morocco showcases an array of traditional folk performances, the El Badi Palace takes centre stage when it comes to some of the most popular local performances and this has certainly been seen from previous occasions when both performers and viewers alike have filled the courtyards to capacity.

So if you want to experience the various elements to the Moroccan culture, then the Marrakech Popular Arts Festival is where you want to be. From trance-inducing music to the Southern Gnaouas and the Andalus-inspired musicians, to Belly Dancers and Berber dancers, and musicians from the High Atlas.
