Rabat - 04/08/2009
Morocco and Switzerland have signed an agreement to launch a plat-form of services benefiting Moroccan expats.
The agreement, signed in Rabat between the Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans living abroad and the association for International Mobility (AIM), provides for setting up a new digital software that is easy to use through a website designed to meet the needs of the Moroccan expats.
This plat-form, called PSM, allows users to share data, access government and business services, make secure and confidential transactions, and create an online community that would reinforce the presence of Moroccan expatriates on a number of political and economic issues in Morocco and in their host countries.
Thanks to PSM, the Moroccan community abroad will be able to identify work and training opportunities, to get degree certifications, and manage various personal needs.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, AIM Co-Chairwoman, Anne-Marie Buschman Petit, said the association, which started in 2008, aims notably to provide a wide range of services to workers abroad.
Project partner, President and Director General of Wisekey (world international security company), Carlos Moreira said users can access the website (
www.digitalmediterranean.org) through a personal user ID, adding that every user will have their own well-protected account in which they could handle several tasks in total privacy.
