The sixth World Economic Forum on the Middle East will be held in Marrakech, Morocco, in May 2010, said the president of the forum, Pr. Claus Schwab, on Sunday at the Dead Sea, Jordan.
A Memorandum of Understanding will be signed in this respect by Morocco and the Foundation of the forum in June in Morocco, reported MAP news agency.
The news was announced at the closing ceremony of the 5th World Economic Forum held in Jordan on May 15-17.
Morocco was represented in this forum by a high-ranking delegation comprising Prime Minister Abbas el Fassi, the Minister Delegate in charge of economic and general affairs, Nizar Baraka, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Modern Technology, Ahmed Reda Chami, and the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Jamal Rhmani.
