Morocco, Canada to intensify trade Rabat - Morocco and Canada agreed, on Thursday, to intensity builateral trade and investment during a meeting between Moroccan Foreign Trade Minister, Abdellatif Ma⺯uz, and visiting Canadian agriculture minister, Gerry Ritz.
Ma⺯uz told MAP that his meeting with the Canadian official focused on different opportunities for bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of investment and technical assistance.
Morocco and Canada have good relations and provide a significant trade platform in view of the various free trade agreements linking Rabat and Ottawa with several countries, he added.
The two sides also examined opportunities for cooperation in areas where Canada has a great experience, such as agribusiness, ICTs, aeronautics and sea transport, Ma⺯uz said. |
