Synopsis: In todays beautiful and chaotic Casablanca, two 23 year-old childhood friends, ADIL and KARIM, try to make a life for themselves, living by their wits off smalltime misdeeds.
KARIM employs children who sell cigarettes in retail, but has decided to straighten up his life and dreams of respect and success. ADIL has found a miracle solution to all his problems: to buy a visa and a job contract to emigrate to Malmö, a mystified Swedish town.
As their decisions and their dreams are challenged by rough reality, a woman appears in their life.
The story of CASANEGRA leads ADIL and KARIM to a final moment of truth: as they are hired by a local mobster to execute a last job that will earn them their way out, everything they are bond by is called into question.
CASANEGRA is thus the theatre of their dilemmas: love or friendship? Adventure or reason? Hope or despair?
It is a love story between two young protagonists and their city, a city that doesnt love them in return. CASANEGRA is an ode to friendship, to the hopes of a city and a generation.
