Hi,

This is probably a strange question but here goes,...

I'm going to be in Morocco for 8 days in October. But it's actually a side-trip that i'm taking on my way from Canada to Sierra Leone.

One of the things i'm doing before i leave Canada is collecting soccer balls that i plan to deflate and take to Sierra Leone with me. I want to give them out to the children in some of the rural villages that i'll be staying in.

So far the response has been tremendous and i have quite a few balls to take with me. So many in fact that i now have to take a separate bag just to carry all the deflated balls and the hand pump.

The problem is that i don't want to lug a bag of soccer balls around Morocco with me for 8 days along with my regular backpack.

I'm wondering if anyone can suggest somewhere to store the bag of deflated soccer balls for 8 days while i travel around Morocco. For example, does the Casablanca airport have lockers that can be rented? Or can anyone suggest another option?

Hi zeptepe -
That's very nice of you I dont think the airport rent out lockers but i'm sure in the train station they do. Once you get to Casablanca train station (I'm assuming it will be Casa Voyageur) ask for short term storage, you can rent a locker for the 8 days, that way you don't have to take them with you allover Morocco. I will try to confirm it for you, otherwise I will ask a friend to meet you there and store them for you until you get back to Casablanca.

Hi,

I'd very much appreciate you confirming if the train station has storage lockers. I'm going to be taking the train to Marrakesh so that would be very convenient.

I'd have to store the soccer balls from a Saturday morning until the following Sunday afternoon,..so 8 days.

Hi, there and welcome to gomorocco. obviously your question doesn't seem to ba a strange one. I think that you will find many places in which you can store your stuff, actaully i don't know if there is somewhere in casablanca airport as existsuch storage places in buses stations. anyway i will do my best to help you.
