I visit most countries, unless there is a real risk of getting killed. For example, I wouldnt go to Afghanistan now or in the near future.
Terrorism gives me the creeps but I think a person would have to get very unlucky to find themselves in the middle of a terrorist attack.
Staying at home because of dangers that probably wont happen is missing out. There is a big chance that terrorists wont kill you, and that the plane wont crash and all the other things that people fear when they are about to travel.
Terrorism has put me off visiting the US, but not because of the actual terrorists themselves. The immigration and airport security at the US airports seem to be hassling people a ridiculous amount, in the name of preventing terrorists from entering the country. It is way too annoying a way to start a vacation in a first world country where one would expect better.
