Hey sabrina16 - Welcome to GoMorocco.com, It will take time for the Indian tourism to pick up again. we had the same issue in Morocco couple years ago but like you said nothing will affect the tourists to go where they want to go
Is this will be your first time to visit Morocco? and what are you planning to visit? i'm just curious feel free to ask any question we'll be glad to assist you
I also noticed a link on your signature, sounds interesting.. are you in the SEO business or something?

I think after this there might be more security provided for foreigners in India. The last thing the Indian government would want is more attacks on tourists.

It is however a bit scary because the terrorists attacked 3 places where I would be very likely to be, if I was in Mumbai. The Taj Mahal hotel has great views of the bay and the Gateway of India. I cant afford to stay there but I love having a drink while watching the view.
Cafe Leopald is someplace where just about every backpacker visiting Mumbai hangs out.
And of course the train station is a place where I would be buying train tickets and waiting for trains.

I will be going to Mumbai in May. I bought the ticket before all this happened. I hope it does not freak me out too much when I see bullet holes in the walls of my favourite cafe.

It is just a few weeks before I go to Delhi. Lets hope the terrorists leave it alone. I was very nervous for the last few days about it, but thankfully it is starting to go to the back of my mind. Afterall, I am from Ireland and we had a terrorist problem there for 50 years and I rarely gave a thought to bombs etc when I visited N. Ireland.

I agree with you everything will be all right and the Indian government can't afford other attacks.
I hope that you will enjoy your stay in India and be safe.

We were going to have dinner in a fancy hotel on Christmas day but apparently terrorists in the last few years have targeted fancy hotels in some countries because they expect a lot of Western people to be in them and hotels dont have as much security as airports and some other places so are easy targets.

I think we will choose a less fancy place to have dinner. I know an ordinary restaruant in Agra where we will be for Christmas. Even though the restaurant is ordinary it does have a view of the Taj Mahal which will make it more than special enough for Christmas day.
