Morocco condemns Israel's policy of Judaizing Jerusalem Saturday, March 28, 2009
Morocco condemned strongly the continuing Israeli policy of collective punishment against the Palestinian people, and the policy of settlement and Judaization of Al-Quds, in violation of international law and the road map.
The Permanent Representative of Morocco to the United Nations, Mohammed Loulichki during the monthly meeting of the UN Security Council, that the statements made by Israel over its desire to resume negotiations' not enough 'if it persists in the approach has been the policy of collective punishment, and the intensification of settlement activities, including in Jerusalem.
Loulichki denounced in a speech reported by the agency MAP reported yesterday, the policy of demolition and resettlement to change the demographic features of East Jerusalem, and the obscure nature of the Palestinian, in flagrant violation of United Nations resolutions and the road map and the principle of land for peace.
The ambassador also reiterated his country's support for the Moroccan firm and steadfast Palestinian people's right to establish an independent and viable with Jerusalem as its capital, and the adoption of a final settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict to ensure peace and stability for all peoples of the region.
