Hi everyone.
Your assistance is needed to find the name and any other information you may have about the following:
When I was in growing up in Morocco, on most Fridays and on special religious occasions radio Maroc (in Arabic) used to broadcast a Quran recital by an Imam who used to bring tears to my eyes each time I heard him.
All I know about him is:
He was Egyptian
He was blind
He was of mature years back in the 70s
It seemed that he favoured Surat Youssouf (12)

I would be grateful of any details that might help me aquire some of his recitals in audio form
I have recordings by Abdulbassit Abdulsamad and by Mohammed Jibrel, but I would like to get hold of this Imam’s recitals if possible.

I don't listen to Quran, sorry can't help!

I'm not sure who, but I will ask my brother for you he might know him.
The first that came on ind when you mentioned that he was blind is Sayed Makkaoui, he's a singer but before that he was a Quran reciter.
