It may be legal but whether you would want to eat them is another matter.
The camel is mentioned in the Qu'ran where it says we should "reflect on the camel and just how they were created" 88.17.
This refers to just how much the Arabs and the Bedouin tribes absolutely depended on the camel and its extent of use in the times before motorized vehicles.
The hump of the camel is solid fat which the Bedouins used for many purposes and the hair and hide of the camel were used in a variety of ways.Along with sheep,goats camels were used as sacrificial animals by the early Christians, Muslims and the Jews.In times of need the camel was eaten.
I did eat camel before but not by choice, In Moroccan culture it's usually eaten as a remedy for cold. When I eat it, it tasted just like any other meat... actually it's proven that the Camel meat is leaner than beef and lamb = healthier.
PS: I rather eat camel than pork.
