Israeli F-16 bombers have launched a series of air strikes against key targets in the Gaza, Palestine, killing at least 155 people, and injuring about 200 others according to Gaza officials and medical chiefs.

Both sides are idiots and have people in power that do not want peace.

Israel keeps building illegal settlements and oppresses the native Palestinians on so many fronts..

Palestinian radicals retaliate by lob rockets that could not hit the broadside of a barn or suicide bombers or what not

Israel fires back killing hundreds in the most densely populated place on earth.

the cycle of stupidity continues... only ones getting anything out of this are the people in power and the weapons manufactures.

That section of the world with it's two inseparable peoples is like a old injury you picked up in school when you though you knew it all and had no need to take the time to let it heal properly, so that now with the slightest knock or strain it becomes inflamed and irritated again. Reminding us once again of our past and some of the dreams that may have got away. Yet from this if we could just stop individually picking at the wounds or our innocent youth we may grow old together to see the wisdom in our collective scars.

I think Israel are really losing it. What they are doing is not going to improve anything and it is causing so much misery for the ordinary people in Gaza who are just trying to get on with their lives and take care of their families. For sure, Israel have a difficult situation on their hands but why do they have to make it even worse.

Because they believe they will kill all Hamas movement this way which totally wrong, also because the elections are coming and they are trying to use the time frame of the transition between Bush and Obama as a dead time where either of the president or the president elect can really make a decision.
It's just making things worst and they will re experience the defeat they had from prior similar experience with Hizb Allah in Lebannon.
