Christie's puts up Yves Saint Laurent's house in Tangiers for sale Rabat - The world auction house "Christie's" announced it is putting up for sale the Tangiers house of French renowned fashion designer, Yves Saint Laurent.
The house, located on a cliffside in the northern Moroccan city, was purchased by YSL and his partner Pierre Berge in 1998.
Overlooking the strait of Gibraltar, the Villa Mabrouka comprises five bedrooms and a lavish garden.
The auction house is offering for sale the property through its subsidiary Christie’s Great Estates which did not set a price for the former house of one of the world most famous fashion designers who died in June 2008 at 71.
