| Lifetime Member ![]() | Early last Month, on June 3rd Microsoft lunched the new competitor for Google search engine known as "Bing". This new search engine uses the latest web technologies and with an improved Artificial intelligence which Microsoft doesn't call it a "Search Engine" but a "Decision Engine" As the case with all of us, Google.com became an important part of our daily web life (Google Habit) combined with our email account be it Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail and with social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Google is the most popular search engine and website on the world-wide-web. And as many of us still use Microsoft online services like MSN Messenger and Hotmail; Bing is aimed to earn our trust and use it for our future online searches moving forward. Since the lunch of Bing.com I started using it on a daily basis along side with Google and I must say I am totally impressed with the responsiveness and easy use of the new search engine. At first the search results may look similar to Yahoo and Google but if you look closer you will find out so many interesting features in Bing. Here is a nice review on allticles.com about Google vs Bing with examples. "Whether you love the new name or not–personally, I think it’s a huge improvement on Windows Live Search–you owe it to yourself to go and try Microsoft’s revamped search offering when it launches on June 3. And by “try” I don’t mean enter one search query and make up your mind, I mean give it a solid week or two. You might just find that Bing pleasantly surprises. www.allticles.com" After a week of usage, I started to love the new features offered by Bing especially when using the "Image Search" feature which is definitely a plus over Google. however, I still find it hard to break the habit and stop Googling and start Binging |
