Hourani elected head of CGEM Mohamed Hourani was elected on Thursday president of the Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises, known as the CGEM, to succeed Moulay Hafid Alamy.
Hourani and his vice-president, Mohamed Tamer, received 1830 votes out of 2611, during the General Assembly of the Confederation, which decided to limit the president's term to three year.
Voicing his satisfaction over this election, Hourani vowed to make every effort to realise the aspirations of Moroccan entrepreneurs and contribute to their integration in the world economy.
Graduate of the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies, the new president of the CGEM is the president of the association of information technology professionals (APEBI), member of the national council of foreign trade (CNCE) and member of the management board of Al Akhawayne University.
In 2006, he won the Creativity Award of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). By CMC |
